Monika is an artist with a background in construction engineering – great skills that have inspired many ideas. She’s the trendsetter at read on and divines new fashions before they reach the public. Together with Sandra, she’s founded several successful companies, and is the logistical mastermind behind read on.

Sandra’s first love is design – especially eyewear. Read on, which she founded with Monika, is her 3rd startup. As a trained industrial designer, she’s also a lecturer at the prestigious Zurich University of the Arts. With her positive energy, Sandra constantly drives read on forward and is the company’s networking queen.

Driven by her passion for language and ideas, Beatrix supports read on with all its communication and PR activities. When she first found out about read on, she was fascinated by this brilliant concept of combining reading glasses with an iPhone case and wanted to be part of the story.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Marc is read on’s man in the US. With his extensive consumer product development and e-commerce experience, he is a highly valuable advisor for the expansion to the United States and beyond.

Will is our number cruncher and financial magician. A Brit living in Zurich and travelling the world, he has an extraordinary wealth of professional and life experience and keeps us grounded.

IT and design? Yes, that’s Yves. He’s an IT genius and master of all things to do with screen- and web-design. Keeping read on’s website up to the minute is one of Yves many contributions to our success.

ADVISOR

A successful serial founder with more than 20 years of experience, Pascal holds a variety of patents. A veteran in the Swiss watch industry, he has co-founded several Swiss watch brands, including golf watch maker Jaermann & Stübi and Aramedes. Pascal loves the concept of design and functionality and is a read on aficionado from the very beginning – and uses it every day.
